Terms of Use

These Terms of Use apply to the MemoKids app for iPhone and iPad, published by Studio085 ("we", "us"). By downloading or using MemoKids you agree to these terms and to Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement (EULA), which also applies. If anything in these terms conflicts with Apple's EULA, these terms apply to the extent permitted.

1. The service

MemoKids lets parents and guardians record memories about their children, track growth and receive age-appropriate prompts. Some features are free; others require a MemoKids Premium subscription or purchase.

2. Your content

You own everything you add to MemoKids. You are responsible for the content you store and confirm that you have the right to store it (for example, photos of your own family). We do not claim any ownership of your content and only process it to provide the features you use, such as cloud backup.

3. Account

An account is only needed for cloud backup. Keep your password confidential; you are responsible for activity under your account. You can delete your account at any time in the app (Family → Cloud backup → Delete account).

4. Premium subscriptions and free trial

• MemoKids Premium is offered as an auto-renewing subscription (monthly or yearly) and may also be offered as a one-time lifetime purchase. Prices are shown in the app before you buy.
• Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase.
• Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• If a free trial is offered, any unused portion of the trial is forfeited when you purchase a subscription. If you don't cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends, the subscription starts automatically.
• You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple ID settings (Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions).
• Refunds are handled by Apple according to its policies.

5. Health information disclaimer

Growth charts, reference ranges, check-ins and insights in MemoKids are for general information and orientation only. They are not medical advice, diagnosis or treatment and are not a substitute for a pediatrician or other qualified professional. AR height measurements are approximate. Always seek professional advice about your child's health.

6. Acceptable use

Don't use MemoKids to store unlawful content, to infringe others' rights, or to attempt to access other users' data or disrupt the service.

7. Backups and availability

We work hard to keep MemoKids and cloud backup reliable, but we can't guarantee uninterrupted availability. Content stored only on your device may be lost if the device is lost or the app is deleted; we recommend using cloud backup or exporting backup files regularly.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, MemoKids is provided "as is" and we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, or for loss of data, arising from your use of the app. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection laws that cannot be excluded.

9. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. The latest version is always available on this page. Continued use of the app after changes means you accept the updated terms.
